Hi, I'm Heather Telford an art and craft enthusiast who can never find enough time to make all the things! My artistic pursuits include watercolour painting, stamping, calligraphy, gel printing and art journaling.

As a trained teacher I love sharing artsy projects, techniques and tutorials. I have taught in-person creative arts classes for many years and recently added online classes to my teaching repertoire.

Wreaths - Stamped & Painted is my fourth online class. All four have focused on card sized art although the principles and techniques could be used on a larger scale. In this class I will again be working with stamps but will combine them with watercolour painting and simple drawing techniques in order to make each wreath unique.

We will begin with a technique lesson covering hand drawn and painted foliage and fillers. The elements are simple and do not require previous drawing or painting experience.

The following three lessons will involve wreaths made from stamped elements, designs which combine stamps and hand drawn fillers and finally, unique wreaths completely hand drawn and painted.

Once you have registered you will have immediate access to all the class content. The lessons include pre-recorded videos and notes you can watch and read at your own pace. You will be able to revisit lessons as often as you like. Supply lists are included for every projects as well a categorised lists in the class introduction. There is a comment section at the end of each lesson where you can ask questions, make comments and share your own projects.

Do I need to have the same stamps, inks and brushes as you?

No, you don't. I imagine you will be able to make the cards in this class with supplies you have on hand. Do you have a variety of dye inks such as distress, memento or other brands? Do you have floral and foliage stamps, some outline, some brushstroke, some silhouette? If so you will be able to create these wreaths. I will discuss the supply list in detail at the beginning of the course.
